Roy Kirk

Project Director. Space Hub Sutherland

Roy Kirk has worked for a number of investment bodies for Scottish Government. His most recent project involves developing the Space Hub Sutherland project in the North of the Scottish mainland. He has served in the Territorial Army rising to the rank of Major. During his service he was serving as Captain Kirk – perhaps more appropriate for his current role. For the last six years he has focussed on delivering the Space Hub in Sutherland and engaged with a number of launch and other Space companies. The Space Hub Sutherland project team successfully obtained planning consent from The Highland Council in August 2020 and are now moving forward to commence the construction activities later this year. Roy is married with four children.
