Business Development Executive for Space. Raytheon UK

Paul works in the Cyber, Space and Training division of Raytheon UK as the Business Development Executive for Space. Paul is the Raytheon UK representative to the UKSA, MOD and UKSpace where he represents the Company on the Defence & Security Council, PNT, SATCOM and Launch Committees as well as the Trade & Export Group. He can also be found at the Harwell Satellite Applications Centre. He took up this role in July 2018 when he returned from a three year Raytheon secondment to the UK Defence Solutions Centre (UK DSC) under the Defence Growth Partnership. In that role he was the UKDSC strategic capability development lead for both Air Intelligent Systems and Training. He was also the Chair for the ADS trade association’s UK Industry NATO Forum, comprising some forty defence companies.

Since joining Raytheon in September 2011, Paul has been responsible for running and participating in new business captures of several C4ISR related projects for both UK MOD and export opportunities, particularly in the geo-spatial intelligence and joint effects areas during which time he won a Raytheon Innovator of the Year award in 2014. He has represented Raytheon on the Defence Strategic Leadership Programme, briefed the House of Commons Defence Select Committee, worked on NITEworks experimentations threads, participated in Enterprise Challenges and worked in several DSTL C4ISR Concepts and Solutions research threads. In the international arena he has been Raytheon UK’s representative for the NATO Industry Advisory Group (NIAG), participating and authoring reports in a number of NIAG Study Groups. He is also a 2019 graduate of the Raytheon Future Leader Development Programme.
