Head of Group Strategy. BAE Systems
Andrew Kennedy is responsible for helping to define the long-term strategy BAE Systems and lead a number of pan business strategic themes.
Prior to this, he was the Strategic Campaigns Director at BAE Systems Air, where he helped lead the company response to the UK Combat Air Strategy and delivering a successful outcome to the UK Combat Air Acquisition Programme, also referred to as Tempest. This follows a short secondment into the Ministry of Defence to help write and launch the UK Combat Air Strategy. He previously worked in the BAE Systems Head Office organisation, running a team supporting global export campaigns and was the BAE Systems representative at the Royal College of Defence Studies in 2013.
Before joining BAE Systems Andrew worked in the Royal United Services Institute where he was responsible for research and analysis related to Asia. He has also previously worked in the Ministry of Defence and the House of Commons.
