Zoppas Industries is a global supplier of flexible heaters and systems for space satellites, spacecrafts, pressurized modules and ground-based antennas since 1992. The group is qualified for space applications according to ESA specification ESCC 4009/002 and 004. Flexible heaters are used for thermal balancing of structures subject to sub-zero temperatures, moisture removal from payloads, defogging of sensors and lens and snow melting for ground-based antennas. Heaters are made of a resistive track laminated on a polyimide sheet in single- or double-layer construction and are designed to operate up to a max surface temperature of 200°C.
